Dr. med. Stefan Wöhrer
Dr. Stefan Wöhrer, a specialist in internal medicine, was born in Vienna on March 31, 1977. He completed his studies at the Medical University of Vienna with a doctorate in March 2002. Starting in 2006, he completed a PhD program at the Medical University of Vienna and, from 2007 to 2011, gained international experience at the General Hospital and the Terry Fox Laboratory in Vancouver—one of the world’s leading stem cell research laboratories. He then continued his work at the University Clinic for Internal Medicine I in the Department of Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation.
In 2015, Dr. Stefan Wöhrer founded Permedio—a center for personalized medicine comprising a group practice for internal medicine, a medical training center, and a laboratory for genetic and epigenetic analyses—to make the scientific findings of recent years available to patients. In daily practice, the focus is on the individual patient and their needs. The expertise of this specialist in internal medicine, oncology, and hematology is complemented by a diploma in nutritional medicine, genetics, and sports medicine.
