Vitamin B12 DROPS - for optimal supply in case of increased need

Science-Backed

Vitamin B12 is one of the water-soluble vitamins and has many functions in the human body.

It is involved in the formation of red blood cells and is a component of some enzymes. Vitamin B12 also plays an important role in energy metabolism and is important for a well-functioning nervous system.

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has scientifically examined and confirmed the functions of vitamin B12 in the human body. [1]

Vitality Nutritionals Vitamin B12 Drops

combine 3 natural forms of vitamin B12 into a highly effective formula. These are the bioactive forms methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, as well as hydroxocobalamin, the vitamin B12 form with depot properties for long-term effects.

Sublingual absorption through the oral mucosa, combined with the broad range of effects of the three forms of vitamin B12, ensures optimal vitamin B12 intake. Vitamin B12 Drops are therefore also ideal for people who suffer from an absorption disorder in the gastrointestinal tract but still want the best possible vitamin B12 supply.

Vitamin B12 supplementation makes sense

• with increased vitamin B12 requirements
• for vegetarians with limited vitamin B12 intake from food
• for vegans to compensate for the lack of vitamin B12 sources in the diet
• during pregnancy and while breastfeeding
• with elevated homocysteine levels
• for older people whose vitamin B12 intake is limited

Vitamin B12 Drops for vegetarians and vegans

Vitamin B12 is found almost exclusively in animal foods, such as beef and beef liver, lamb, fish, game, salmon, prawns, scallops, poultry and eggs.

This is why vegetarians and vegans are often deficient in vitamin B12, especially if they also avoid dairy products and eggs.

Vitamin B12 Drops for older people

Many older people also have a vitamin B12 deficiency. The reason for this is that the production of stomach acid decreases with age.

Stomach acid helps to dissolve vitamin B12 from food and make it available. If there is not enough stomach acid, a vitamin B12 supplement may be useful.

Who are Vitamin B12 Drops particularly suitable for?

A major advantage of Vitamin B12 Drops is that the vitamin B12 is absorbed through the oral mucosa.

Vitamin B12 absorption via the digestive tract can be severely restricted in people who suffer from gastrointestinal problems, among other things: There is often too little stomach acid available to dissolve the vitamin B12 from the food.

For example, people over the age of 50 are recommended to take vitamin B12 drops if necessary, as the formation of stomach acid can decline with age.

And in a small proportion of the population, the gastric juice lacks the intrinsic factor, which is produced by certain cells in the stomach lining, due to an autoimmune disease. However, it is necessary so that vitamin B12 can be introduced into the body via the intestinal cells.

Do Vitamin B12 Drops have side effects?

Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin and is very safe. The body uses the individual amount required at any given time and excretes the rest in the urine.

However, always ensure that you do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking the product.
