Lion's mane capsules with vitamin B12 – an ideal combination

Backed by science

The human body requires a significant amount of energy to function optimally. The brain has especially high energy demands to not only regulate vital bodily functions but also support peak mental performance.

Vitality Nutritionals UltraPure Lion’s Mane was developed to ensure an optimal delivery of important nutrients to the brain and nervous system. It combines the traditional medicinal mushroom with vitamin B12 to support mental performance and energy metabolism.

Ensuring an adequate supply of vitamin B12 is especially important if you follow a predominantly plant-based, vegetarian, or vegan diet: Current research shows that vitamin B12 requirements cannot be reliably met through plant-based foods alone. [1]

UltraPure Lion's Mane capsules with a scientifically based formula

The health claims for vitamin B12 have been scientifically examined and confirmed by the European Food Safety Authority. [2]

The health claims in relation to most plants and plant substances have not yet been conclusively evaluated. However, due to the number of studies, the efficacy described here can be sufficiently substantiated.

Lion's mane – the versatile medicinal mushroom

Lion's mane (Hericium erinaceus) contains a diverse range of active ingredients: polysaccharides, beta-glucans, hericenones, erinacins and antioxidants.

In traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, Lion's mane is regarded as an adaptogen. By harmonizing bodily functions, adaptogens are believed to support overall well-being and mental health and enhance the body’s resilience to stress.

Research indicates that Lion's mane may contribute to brain health and provide support in cases of cognitive impairment through its active compounds. [3]
