DEKA Forte Drops from Vitality Nutritionals are a dietary supplement in drop form that combines the four fat-soluble vitamins D3, E, K2 and A in one formula.
The vitamins are dissolved in high-quality MCT oil, and a 10 ml bottle is sufficient for around 250 days when taken as recommended.
All four vitamins are fat-soluble, which means they are absorbed most efficiently together with fat.
Since they are dissolved together in a carrier oil in DEKA Forte Drops, they use the same absorption route in the intestine.
This is also the reason why these four vitamins are often naturally found together in fatty foods such as fish, eggs or liver.
K2VITAL® is a patented, particularly pure form of vitamin K2 (MK-7) from the manufacturer Kappa Bioscience, which consists of 99.7% of the bioactive all-trans form.
This form corresponds to the K2 molecule that occurs naturally in the body, and is vegan and soy-free.
DEKA Forte Drops contain only natural D-alpha-tocopherol. Many other preparations, on the other hand, use synthetic DL-alpha-tocopherol, a mixture of a bioactive and a less easily utilisable molecular form. Natural vitamin E therefore has a higher bioavailability.
It is retinyl acetate, a directly bioactive form of vitamin A. In contrast, purely plant-based sources usually only provide beta-carotene, the precursor of vitamin A, which the body first has to convert itself.
