Borage oil capsules from Vitality Nutritionals

Borage oil has the highest gamma linolenic acid (GLA) content of all plants. The body uses this essential fatty acid to produce prostaglandins, which are crucial for vitality, health and beauty.

Borage oil (Borago officinalis) is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the borage plant and, at 20-24%, is the richest source of gamma linolenic acid (also known as GLA).

GLA belongs to the group of omega-6 fatty acids. In addition to the seeds of the borage plant, gamma-linolenic acid is also found in the seeds of evening primrose (9%), black cumin, blackcurrants and hemp seeds (3%), albeit in much smaller quantities.

Borage oil, like olive or sunflower oil, is 100% natural and healthy. It optimises the metabolism in a natural way and promotes vitality, health and beauty.

How to use

The recommended intake is:

Usage

Take the amount of capsules according to the indication before or during a main meal.

How much Gamma Linoleic Acid do you need ?

To maintain health and beauty:
2-3 capsules daily (300-600mg GLA)

For dry skin: 2-3 capsules daily (300-600mg GLA)

For Neurodermitis, Psoriasis und Eczyma we suggest 4 x 1 capsules daily (900mg GLA). Kids up to 12 years should take 1-2 capsules daily.

For joint inflammation and rheumatism: 3-5 capsules daily (600-1500mg GLA).

Athletes, who often have inflammations and infections: 8-10 capsules daily (1800-2400mg GLA).

Borage Oil should be taken for at least 2-3 month.

Very good product that helps very well
