Holimel®
is a patented sugar melon (Cucumis melo L.) extract, coated with RSPO-certified vegetable oil. Holimel® contains a high concentration of superoxide dismutase.
FloraGLO®
contains a high concentration of 10% lutein. It is extracted from Tagetes erecta L. (marigold) using a patented manufacturing process. FloraGLO® lutein is exactly the same as the natural, highly bioavailable lutein found in green leafy vegetables, for example.
AstaPure®
is a high-quality astaxanthin obtained from the algae Haematococcus pluvialis.
Tomato extract
MelanoGlow® contains tomato fruit peel extract (Solanum lycopersicum L.) with a high lycopene content.
Grape seed extract
MelanoGlow® contains grape seed extract (Vitis vinifera L.) with a high concentration of 10% OPC.
Carotenoids / beta-carotene
Carotenoids are orange, yellow and red plant pigments. MelanoGlow® contains mixed carotenoids from algae (Dunaliella salina (Dunal) Teodoresco) with 10% beta-carotene, a precursor of vitamin A.
Hyaluronic acid
is an important skin component that can bind large amounts of water. Hyaluronic acid moisturizes the skin and protects it from drying out.

When the skin is exposed to the sun for extended periods, it increases the production of the pigment melanin. This improves its own protection against harmful UV-B radiation. It also gives the skin the attractive tan that many people desire.
However, excessive sun exposure can negatively affect skin health, as too much UV radiation triggers oxidative stress caused by free radicals. The body's own protective mechanisms can then no longer compensate for the damaging effect of the free radicals. This can lead to cell damage and premature skin ageing.
It is therefore important to find a balance between sun exposure and sun protection. An adequate supply of the right micronutrients can help support melanin formation and protect against oxidative stress.

Vitality Nutritionals MelanoGlow® capsules are ideal for people who are regularly exposed to high levels of UV radiation. The holistically designed formula combines valuable plant extracts, carotenoids, vitamins, minerals and hyaluronic acid to support the tanning process, skin care and hydration – for a healthy, radiant complexion.
The health claims in relation to plants and plant substances have not yet been conclusively evaluated. However, due to the number of studies, the efficacy described here can be sufficiently substantiated. The health claims for vitamins and minerals have been scientifically examined and confirmed by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
Natural tan from the inside out
Copper, lycopene and beta-carotene, the precursor of vitamin A, contribute to the production of protective melanin. This supports faster tanning and a longer-lasting tan:
Copper contributes to normal skin pigmentation.
Lycopene supports the optical tanning of the skin.
Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin.
Skin protection against oxidative stress
Skin-damaging oxidative stress occurs when, for example, UV radiation amplifies the harmful effects of free radicals. Antioxidants are compounds that can neutralize free radicals. MelanoGlow® contains powerful antioxidants in the form of plant extracts, vitamins and minerals:
Holimel® – a patented French melon extract with a high concentration of superoxide dismutase, which is known for its antioxidant properties. A study has shown that Holimel® supports natural protection against UV rays.
AstaPure® – Astaxanthin is considered the strongest natural antioxidant and has the highest ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) value of all antioxidant vital substances.
FloraGLO® – is "free", biologically active lutein. Lutein molecules are naturally found throughout the skin and act as antioxidants.
OPC is a powerful catcher of radicals and effective antioxidant activator.
Vitamin B2 contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the maintenance of normal skin.
