Organic Javanese coconut blossom sugarCoconut blossom sugar is rich in vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6 and vitamin C) and trace elements such as iron, potassium, zinc and magnesium, as well as 16 essential amino acids. Palm sugar from the nectar of the coconut blossom has naturally a very low glycemic index (GI) of 35, which means that blood glucose levels are not significantly affected. By contrast, commercially available sugar has a GI value of about 68, which is substantially higher. As a result, coconut blossom sugar is healthier than refined white or brown sugar.
